In reference to the preaching of the apostles (followers of Christ) in Antioch
Acts 13: 47-8
"I have set you to be a light to the Gentiles; That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth." Now when the Gentiles heard this they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed."
I am so thankful that God has extended His grace and gift of salvation to all people. I loved reading how the Gentiles REJOICED when they heard the promises of the word of the Lord. Glory be to God!

and what a challenge this verse is to! i don't know about you, but i don't jump for joy everytime i have an opportunity to share the "light" with people. i usually don't share at all! what a privelage God has given us yet we don't see it that way sometimes. at least i don't.....oi. thanks for sharing! i needed the reminder :)
