Romans Road

So, today I've been reading Romans full tilt (as I forgot to do my reading yesterday--oops!) and is it ever challenging! So far I've been "breezing" through my readings but Romans is another story. The whole book is an argument to defend, explain and convince others (mainly the Jewish people) to faith in Christ. My mommy brain can barely handle all of it's "deepness." It's good to exercise the brain cells once in a while though =)

I love Paul's no-nonsense approach to the Gospel. His explanation is direct and concise--I like how Romans 5:18 sums it up:

Therefore as one man's offense judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

Praise the Lord that He saw fit, in light of Adam's sin, to send Salvation to ALL men through His blameless Son.

***My sins are gone! I've been set free! My God, My Savior, has ransomed me! And like a flood, His mercy rains, unending love, amazing grace***

Paul was such an awesome man - he didn't put up with any excuses, and he made it really clear what God had to say about things.
